"Chai Wah Wah" wins the 25th JA Cup

The 25t h Hong Kong Journalists Association Football Cup has once again been successfully completed. The "Chai Wah Wah (柴娃娃) Team defeated the Cable TV News Team A 4:3 to become the Champion Team this year. Cable TV News Team A is first runner-up. The Oriental Press Group won 2:0 over Hartiend United to become the second runner-up, with Hartiend United on third place.

In other matches HKJA won 5:2 over Dawn Homeless Football Team. HKJA also drew with the Information Services Department Team 1:1 but lost 2:1 to the Clube de Jornalistas de Macau Team.

Participants had a good time watching the friendly matches.

Mr. Lau Ka Wo from the Cable TV Team won the Best Scorer Prize with a total of 12 goals in the Tournament. The winners received their prizes from Mr. WONG Wai Lun, Director of the Information Services; Dr. Eric Li, Chairperson of Hong Kong Sport Institute; Mrs Juliana Chen, Deputy Director of the Information Services; and three Assistant Directors of the Information Services, Mr Tam Sik Yeung, Mr. LEUNG Man To, Mrs. LING LO Pauline, as well as Ms. Mak Yin ting, Chairperson of HKJA.
